Nearly 61,000 workers go abroad for service in 6 months
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has sent more than 60,800 workers abroad to work since early this year. Chinese Taiwan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia top the list of labor market for the Vietnamese workers.
Nguyen Gia Liem from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs expects to send 110,000 workers abroad this year. “We will fine-tune institutional mechanism and amendments to the Labor Code relating to overseas markets for workers. We will implement a Prime Minister decision on this issues and deploy agreements signed with partners in South Korea, Chinese Taiwan and Japan as well as vocational employment in Australia.”, added Liem.
