(VOVworld)-The Nhan Dan (People) newspaper officially launched its online Russian language version at a ceremony in Hanoi on Friday.

Addressing the function, Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Party Central Committee’s  Communications and Education Commission, underscored the importance of the new website which, he said, should be a sharp weapon to fight incorrect allegations of hostile forces and protect the Party’s ideology, the nation, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He said the online newspaper forge closer ties between Vietnam and Russia.
