Vietnamese Ambassador Le Huy Hoang said no Vietnamese citizens have yet been harmed by the violence in northern Mozambique.

The Ambassador’s remarks follow attacks on foreigners in Palma town in Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado, which have triggered international concern.

According to the South African Government News Agency (SAnews), the conflict, which intensified last Friday, has left dozens dead and 60 people missing.
