(VOVworld) – Colombian Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin said the Nobel Peace Prize given to President Juan Maniel Santos will help negotiations between the government and the National Liberation Army (ELN), Colombia's second-largest opposition group.

Ms. Holguin said in a press interview on Sunday that the Nobel Peace Prize represents the world’s recognition of efforts by the government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC), the biggest armed group in Colombia, to end 5 decades of civil war.
