North Korea to not negotiate about denuclearization

(VOVWORLD) - North Korea has no interest in having talks on denuclearization with the United States, adding possessing nuclear arms is a strategic option to bolster the powerful war deterrence for the defense of the country, the North's state media said Saturday.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a statement that the US must drop the thought that the North would return to the negotiating table, adding North Korea’s self-defensive nuclear treasure sword will be sharpened evermore unless the US hostile policy toward the North is abolished once and for all.

The statement said that North Korea does not stand against dialogue but will never bargain over issues related to the supreme interests of the country and the security of its people.
