Online Buddha Bathing Week launched to contribute to COVID-19 fund
(VOVWORLD) - An online Buddha Bathing Week has been launched by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Butta, a Buddhist social network, to mark Lord Buddha’s birthday while avoiding mass gatherings at religious sites during this COVID-19 pandemic.

Those who register for the online ritual pledge half a dollar to the COVID-19 fund of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. All proceeds will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to fight the pandemic.
