(VOVworld)-The southern province of Can Tho has hosted an online discussion on rapid and sustainable growth for the Mekong Delta. Delegates agreed on the region’s rapid development and strengthening political system and national security especially in border, sea and island areas. A dozen of national roads with more than 2,500 kilometers in length and irrigation systems have been developed. They said the regional provinces needed to address issues to promote agricultural and fisheries industries and regional links while dealing with climate change and rising sea water level consequences.
