Other localities join Bac Giang’s COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) - Money, medical staff, and equipment have been sent to the northern province of Bac Giang, the most severely affected locality in Vietnam during the current wave of COVID-19.

A team of 18 doctors from Hue Central Hospital arrived in Bac Giang on Monday to take charge of a field hospital, or work with other medical teams to control the pandemic in the province.
Da Nang on Sunday sent to Bac Giang 10 medical workers with experience in treating COVID-19 patients.
“I’m honored to lead this team. We are well-prepared and hope to help Bac Giang get through this difficult time. Da Nang just went through an intense COVID-19 wave, so we understand what Bac Giang is now going through,” said team leader Nguyen Tan Hung.
The Ministries of Health, Public Security, and National Defense have sent thousands of officers, experts, and doctors to Bac Giang to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been donated to help contain the pandemic there. Bac Giang now has the highest number of local infections in Vietnam, at 2,209 cases.
