(VOVworld) – Overseas Vietnamese businesses are of great importance to national development and contribute to boosting Vietnam-EU trade relations, said Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam. Speaking at the 9^th overseas Vietnamese businesses’ forum that opened in Bulgaria on Saturday, Nam cited both advantages and challenges facing overseas Vietnamese businesses in Europe: "The State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs is always ready to provide overseas Vietnamese with legal and spiritual support. The committee will address overseas Vietnamese businesses’ concerns over their investment in Vietnam and protect their interests."
Participants discussed current business conditions in Europe and share successful examples. They stressed the need for overseas Vietnamese enterprises in Europe to better integrate into their host countries and make full use of available conditions to further develop.
