Participants underscored the need for Vietnamese businesses to pay attention to regular customer search channels, be aware of the culture and customs of the host country, make the most of local sales channels, and add customers through exhibitions and product introduction programs.

Nguyen Ngoc My, Chairman of the VABIS Group in Vietnam and Vice President of the Business Association of Overseas Vietnamese, called for the use of overseas Vietnamese resources around the world to introduce, and develop distribution channels for, Vietnamese goods abroad.

“OV can act as representatives to gain the trust of domestic companies. Next what we need is warehouses to receive and distribute strategic products to the target market,” said My, adding, “If Vietnamese products with good designs and quality are recognized by people in the host country, I think Vietnam's exports will grow.”
