Khoi, who is Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, praised the overseas Vietnamese for their active contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development. Overseas Vietnamese have adhered to prevention and control measures during the pandemic while engaging actively in charitable activities to help victims of COVID-19 and natural disasters. Khoi said he believes Vietnamese people living abroad always want to contribute to Vietnam’s development and urged favorable policies to support them.

Khoi took the occasion to brief overseas Vietnamese on the outcomes of the recent 13th National Party Congress. The documents submitted to the Congress included ideas contributed by overseas Vietnamese.
