Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, said that the visit showed the gratitude of overseas Vietnamese to their ancestors and the Party and State’s support of overseas Vietnamese. He added that overseas Vietnamese always support Vietnam’s development and are willing to serve as a bridge connecting Vietnam and their countries of residence. The Vietnamese delegation will visit and give gifts to officials, soldiers, and civilians in the Truong Sa archipelago.
