Palestinian President: Hamas agrees to adopt peaceful struggle against Israel
(VOVWORLD) -The Islamic Hamas movement, which rules the Gaza Strip, has finally decided to adopt a popular peaceful struggle against Israel, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Wednesday during an International Islamic conference.

Abbas slammed Israel for putting roadblocks and barriers around the city of Jerusalem to prevent Palestinian worshippers from reaching the city. He also denounced US President Donald Trump for his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate the US embassy to Jerusalem on May 16.
