Party chief pays working visit to Phu Yen
(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong held a working session with authorities of Phu Yen province on Tuesday.

Mr. Trong said Phu Yen is a hub of major air, sea, and land transportation routes for the South Central and Central Highland region, which is important to national defense and security. Trong hailed Phu Yen’s socio-economic development and urged the province to use its strengths in forestry, fishing, and tourism to become even more developed. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said: “Phu Yen province needs to consider the current situation in working out appropriate development plans. 2016 will be a year for business, so there should be specific plans to improve infrastructure, mechanisms, and policies to attract more investors”.
Trong also visited Son Ha commune, one of two areas recognized for new rural development in Son Ha district, and offered incense at the Nui Nhan memorial in Tuy Hoa city where some 1,400 heroic soldiers are commemorated.
