Party Chief To Lam receives Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam received in Hanoi on Thursday Mr. Li Shulei, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Party Secretariat, and Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee (CPC), who is visiting Vietnam and co-chairing the 20th Theoretical Workshop between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the CPC.

During the meeting, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the importance of the highest-level theoretical exchange mechanism between the two Parties over the past 20 years. He highly appreciated the success of the 20th Theoretical Workshop, themed “The Path and Practice of Socialism in the 21st Century,” describing it as a timely implementation of the high-level common understanding reached by the two Parties.
He noted that the event carries special significance in enabling both sides to comprehensively review key achievements and draw valuable lessons from each Party’s and each country’s efforts to pursue socialism aligned with their own national realities.

The workshop, he added, contributes to the theoretical development of modern socialist models and reflects the high level of political trust between the two Parties.
Mr. Li Shulei congratulated Vietnam on its remarkable development achievements and the smooth implementation of reform-oriented measures. He affirmed that China’s Party and State theoretical and publicity agencies will continue to work closely with their Vietnamese counterparts to further strengthen exchanges, cooperation, and the sharing of experience in Party building and state governance.
He also stressed the importance of promoting friendly communication and consolidating the strong social foundation for the China–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the China–Vietnam Community with a Shared Future of Strategic Significance.
