Party leader meets General Secretary of Communist Party of Britain

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam suggested that the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) consider the possibility of implementing theoretical exchange activities, sharing information on the situation and viewpoints of each Party on regional and global issues of mutual interest, as well as coordinate more closely at political forums, especially the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties.

Within the framework of the official visit to the UK, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam received General Secretary of the Communist Party of Britain Robert Griffiths in London on Wednesday.
At the meeting, General Secretary Lam called on the two sides to coordinate closely, convey information on Vietnam and its foreign affairs messages to members of the Communist Party of Great Britain and the British people for better understanding and active support for Vietnam and the friendly relations between the two countries, so as to facilitate the enhancement of cooperation between the two Parties and the two countries.
General Secretary Lam also said he hopes that the Communist Party of Great Britain will support and coordinate the review and collection of traces of President Ho Chi Minh during his time in the UK, including documents on the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
