He praised the great efforts made by the educational sector and its achievements in the last academic year, particularly the outstanding performance of Vietnamese students at Olympiads competitions.

He asked the educational sector to effectively implement the Party guidelines and state policies on education and training, particularly the revised law on Education and Tertiary Education. It’s necessary to enhance teaching on national history, culture, and revolutionary lifestyle and ideology and build a healthy and friendly educational environment.

Mr. Trong expressed his hope that teachers and educational staff will devote to their career while students will promote the national tradition of learning to gain higher results in the new academic year.
