He was addressing a meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Corruption and Misconducts Prevention and Control on Thursday. He emphasized the importance of fine-tuning the power control mechanism to prevent and fight corruption, and completing the asset and income control mechanism as well as reviewing laws and regulations concerning bidding, land management, finance, and public property. He asked for early finalization of a review on the national anti-corruption strategy by 2020 and a work plan to implement the UN Convention on Anti-Corruption as well as the establishment of provincial anti-corruption steering committees.
