People support PM’s Covid-19 prevention measures
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s Directive on strengthening the COVID-19 prevention and control took effect nationwide Wednesday. Local authorities and people have strictly implemented preventive measures, including social distancing in 15 days.

Truong Thanh Son, a resident in Lang Son province, expressed his belief on public unity and consensus to defeat the pandemic. He said:“the Directive is of great importance in containing the spread of the pandemic. If all people are fully aware of the situation and strictly implement the Directive, we can contain the pandemic. It’s my responsibility to ask people to abide by the Prime Minister’s Directive.”
Lam The Tong and his family members in Plei Ku city adapt to the rule of social distancing.
“Old and young people stay at home to avoid contact with other people as said in the Prime Minister’s Directive. We only go out to buy food. We wear face masks when we go out and clean our hands when we return home,” Tong said.
During 15 days of social distancing, local authorities have prepared sufficient food and essential goods for people. The Ministry of Industry and Trade said distribution networks, supermarkets, and traditional markets nationwide remain open.
