People’s diplomacy contributes to Ho Chi Minh City’s development
(VOVWORLD) -The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organization (HUFO) will improve non-governmental external affairs to contribute to the city’s targets.

At a meeting to launch HUFO’s tasks for the year, President of the Organization Huynh Minh Thien said HUFO will be actively involved in consultation on the management and use of NGO funding for Ho Chi Minh City’s socio-economic development projects.
It will also enhance communications to promote Vietnam’s image and Ho Chi Minh City’s potential abroad. Mr. Thien said his organization wishes to cooperate with relevant agencies in order to gain further success in people diplomacy.
