(VOVWORLD) - The Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations said that it will cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front to develop people-to-people diplomacy.

Hoang Binh Quan, head of the Commission, said an annual plan of action for external affairs will be formulated.
“Efforts should be focused on the Vietnam Fatherland Front to strengthen its foreign relation activities in the new context and to meet the new requirements. The Front with its role as the political coalition agency, should connect the Party and people and its core task is people-to-people diplomacy activities”, Quan said.
President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man asked the Central Commission for External Relations to continue creating favorable conditions for the Front’s operation.
