Personnel training begins for HCM City’s first metro route
(VOVWORLD) - Training of personnel who will operate and manage HCM City’s metro line No 1 has begun.

Construction of the city’s first metro route between Ben Thanh Market in district 1 and Suoi Tien Theme Park in district 9 is expected to be finished in the next few months.
The training is free and trainees’ board and lodging expenses are covered.
10 of the 58 trainees would be sent to Japan for a further two-week training course.
Line No. 1 is expected to begin operations by the end of next year. Trains will run at a maximum speed of 110km above ground and 80km underground. Each train can carry around 930 passengers.
