(VOV) - 23 kindhearted donors and organizations were honored this week at a ceremony at the National Broadcasting Center of the Voice of Vietnam Radio. This event enabled the Golden Heart fund and beneficiaries to show their gratitude to this year’s donors. Saving books and other gifts were given to poor families and Agent Orange/ Dioxin victims.

Nguyen Ngoc Khoi is Chairman of the Golden Heart Fund’s Executive Board. "The Golden Heart Fund has branches in Ho Chi Minh city, Hai Phong, Pleiku, Russia, and the Czech Republic. The fund will establish 3 granaries in 3 regions to promptly assist victims of natural disasters. We help distribute donations from kindhearted people to disadvantaged people."
At the ceremony, the Golden Heart Fund raised 225 million VND (10,000 USD) from individuals and organizations.
