(VOVworld) - The Philippines’ president Rodrigo Duterte was in Davao during a blast on Friday, but was safe and at a police station after the explosion, said his son Paolo Duterte, vice mayor of the city.

Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella earlier told CNN Philippines that 60 people were wounded and 10 confirmed dead. A military spokesman told reporters that the incident took place at a street market outside the high-end Marco Polo hotel.
