Photo exhibit features Vietnam’s border areas
(VOVWORLD) - 100 photos depicting the landscapes and people of Vietnam’s border areas are on display in Hanoi. The week-long exhibit that opened on Tuesday also features border demarcation, landmark erection, and border control activities.
Tran Thi Thu Dong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, said a similar exhibit will reach five other localities: Ninh Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Gia Lai, Kien Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
“The photos on display vividly reflect the life and training of border soldiers and other armed forces, who are always on high combat alert. They brave the hardships of remote areas to fulfill their duty and earn the people’s trust that they are defending Vietnam’s borders and national sovereignty,” said Dong.
