The photos illustrate Vietnam’s historical evidence of national sovereignty in Hoang Sa, Paracel, and Truong Sa, Spratly, islands as well as journalistic reports during the days China illegally placed its oil rig in Vietnam’s waters. The exhibition included a meeting between young people and Captain Le Trung Thanh of Coast Guard vessel CSB 4033, which carried journalists gaining access to the Chinese oil rig for many times. Captain Thanh shared with audience dangers and glory during the days:“The exhibition displays true photos of our days at site. They are very encouraging and reflect our legitimate struggle. This promotes young people to uphold their obligations in national sovereignty defense”.
