PM: Administrative reforms contribute to national achievements

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has highlighted the achievements of administrative reforms over the last 10 years, saying they have contributed to all aspects of national development.

At an online meeting on Thursday to review administrative reforms over the past decade and tasks for the coming years, the Prime Minister said, 'Reforming administrative procedures has been a breakthrough in this generation. We can see the role of administrators at all levels in upholding a sense of responsibility for creating favorable conditions for the people and enterprises. Vietnam has remarkably improved its business environment.'

Vietnam is recognized as one of the global economies that has the best improvements of indexes and rankings. Vietnam’s e-government ranks 86 out of 193 countries since 2014.

The Prime Minister asked ministries, sectors and localities to develop civilized, modern, people-centered administrations.

'We need to strengthen digitization with better databases, and strictly deal with violations. Whatever we do should be aimed at people and enterprises. Strengthened administrative reform will help realize the goal of making Vietnam strong and prosperous by 2045.' said the Prime Minister.
