Receiving Ishiguro Norihiko, Chairman of JETRO, in Hanoi, PM Chinh said Vietnam encourages and supports Japanese enterprises to increase investment in Vietnam, especially in green transformation, digital transformation, and circular economy.

JETRO Chairman praised the Prime Minister for listening to the opinions of foreign investors, including Japanese businesses.

He said Vietnam is the only country in ASEAN where JETRO has two representative offices: one in Hanoi and another in Ho Chi Minh City, which shows the importance of Vietnam to Japan and JETRO.

He pledged to work with Vietnam to promote cooperation in celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
