He made the remark at a celebration of the 20th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) in Hanoi on Wednesday. The Prime Minister hailed the association’s achievements in granting scholarships to millions of disadvantaged pupils and students and supporting teachers, creating a learning society. Mr. Phuc said the Vietnamese Talent Awards were established to honor role models in studying and working: “Party Committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations need to work closely and create the best possible conditions for the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education to popularize the Party and State’s guidelines and policies on education and training reform and promote a life-long learning movement. These movements require the effort of the Politburo, the society, the schools, and the parents”.
