PM Phuc told participants that heritage preservation and promotion is the responsibility of ministries and localities: “Heritage is a valuable endowment of nature or essence of our predecessors’ creativity generation after generation. We should understand that anything can be built, produced, and created, but heritage cannot be created. That’s why we shouldn’t damage or exchange heritage for any reason to serve development. Losing heritage, though a part of it, is shooting into the past and losing national identity.”

The Prime Minister called for creativity and dynamism to make heritage value linger in today’s life and education of heritage to inspire national pride and self-respect.
