(VOVWORLD) -Protecting human rights and educating human rights is a comprehensive task of the entire population, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at a national conference on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Chinh chaired the hybrid national conference on human rights education which was connected to 63 provinces and centrally run cities and organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
Vietnam's human rights work is carried out regularly and consistently through specific actions, the Prime Minister said, adding that the human rights education program is an official program that takes students as the center and subject, teachers as the driving force, school as pedestal, family as fulcrum, and society as foundation.
“We believe that with the solidarity and unanimity of the entire political system, the entire people and the army, the work of protecting and educating human rights and will achieve better results. This will make an important contribution to realizing the aspiration of building a Vietnam with rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization, steadily entering a new era, an era of prosperity and strength for the nation," PM Chinh said.
