The flags of Laos and Vietnam
(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc told Lao Deputy Prime Minister Sonsay Siphandone that Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s upcoming visit to Laos is an important event in bilateral ties.
He said both countries should speed up the implementation of cooperative projects for mutual benefit. Vietnam will share with Laos its experience in agriculture and forestry.
Lao’s Deputy Prime Minister Sonsay Siphandone, who is attending the International Wildlife Trade Conference in Vietnam, said both countries will work effectively on wildlife trafficking protection. He suggested Vietnam and Laos should discusss the construction of the Hanoi-Vientiane Highway, the Hon La – Kham Muon oil pipeline, and cooperation among localities.
