Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urges Ninh Thuan to become a renewable energy hub

At a meeting with the local authorities on Friday, the PM lauded achievements that the province has made so far this year. However, he pointed out that per capita income of the province remains low, while its advantages in renewable energy have yet to be fully tapped and natural disasters still affect local people’s lives. He urged the province to diversify its products and promote sustainable development of tourism and pay special attention to environmental protection, while continue speeding up administrative reform and agricultural restructuring, reducing poverty ratio, tightening forest and public land management, and improving irrigation system. He asked Ninh Thuan to pay more attention to human resource development, ensuring social security, and strengthening Party building.
