PM outlines new approach, solutions for national COVID-19 fight
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh says Vietnam’s pandemic prevention and control effort needs a fresh approach and fresh solutions.

At an online meeting on Friday with localities nationwide to discuss pandemic measures, Mr. Chinh praised the concerted pandemic effort made by the public, the business community, and the entire political system, with the fourth wave of coronavirus now surpassing 100 days in Vietnam.
He said that COVID-19 is the pandemic of the century, with no cure yet, and the fight has a long way to go, even with vaccines becoming more available.
Vietnam needs a new approach and new solutions to achieve its dual goal of defeating the pandemic and ensuring economic growth, the Prime Minister said.
