First, more jobs should be generated when orders are reduced for external reasons and workers’ skills and competitiveness should be improved. Second, housing problems should be solved to contribute to improving the life of workers. Third, cultural, sports, health and educational institutions should be built to help to improve the spiritual life and fitness of employees.

Prime Minister Chinh on Wednesday chaired a conference to evaluate the implementation of the Regulation on the working relationship between the Government and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and set out the joint task in 2023 and beyond.

Addressing the conference, the Prime Minister applauded both sides for actively working together to solve urgent issues of employment, income, housing, cultural infrastructure, health, education and life of workers and fine-tuning employees-related mechanisms and policies.

He also asked the ministries, branches, localities and trade unions at all levels to continue to closely coordinate with the Government to jointly build a strong Vietnamese Trade Union and a modern and strong working class.
