PM urges Lam Dong to be growth engine of Central Highlands
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on the central highland province of Lam Dong to accelerate innovation-based growth model reform, increase productivity, and apply advanced science and technology, especially in tourism, services, logistics, agriculture, processing and manufacturing industries, and auxiliary industry.

Prime Minister Chinh on Sunday worked with leaders of Lam Dong province on the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, Party building, and the political system in 2022 and tasks for 2023.
Concluding the meeting, the PM urged for efforts to promote tourism toward modernity, with high-quality products, capitalize on potentials and advantages of scenic spots, natural conditions, unique specialties, ecological environment and cultural identities of the Central Highlands ethnic groups.
It’s necessary to adopt and implement well mechanisms and policies to attract and effectively use resources for development investment, strengthen public-private cooperation, focus on large domestic enterprises and corporations toward green, sustainable development. All these should be done to build Lam Dong into the growth engine of the Central Highlands region and the whole country, PM Chinh said.
