Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc works with Bac Lieu province’s leaders

PM Phuc asked Bac Lieu to adopt a plan of action on implementing government resolutions to achieve higher goals than last year, strengthen healthcare, education, and poverty reduction. Mr. Phuc urged the local agricultural sector to earn 1 billion USD from shrimp exports. Commenting on the province’s proposal on developing the Bac Lieu liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled power project, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the project, which he said must be included in the electricity plan until 2020 and beyond. He asked Bac Lieu and relevant agencies to work with investors on project appraisal, adding that if necessary requirements are met, the project should be implemented promptly.
