Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Gia Lai province

(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has held a working session with key leaders of Gia Lai province on the direction of local social-economic development and methods for resolving difficulties. At the session on Friday, Dung praised the province’s comprehensive achievements in social-economic development. He pointed out some of the difficulties the province faced in transportation infrastructure, the quality of human resources, and poverty reduction. Dung urged Gia Lai province to concentrate on resolving difficulties in production and trade by concrete actions. Dung said: “I ask the local leaders to concentrate on resolving difficulties facing businesses, the production sector, and poor households. The state will do its best to put forward helpful policy ideas. The leaders should talk with businesses, financial banks, and other industries facing difficulties in order to resolve the problem. Production is a prerequisite for development”. 
The prime minister also urged the province to speed up the application of scientific technologies so as to increase productivity.
