Mr. Dung said the trip follows mutual visits by the two countries’ leaders in 2022, reflecting the special mutual trust and friendship between Vietnam and Singapore.

Singapore currently ranks first among Southeast Asian investors and second among all investors in Vietnam. Among its many projects in Vietnam, 11 Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs) with a total investment of over 11 billion USD are providing jobs for more than 300,000 people.

During the coming trip, the two PMs will discuss concrete measures to implement cooperation agreements on digital transformation and clean energy signed last year. These fields match Singapore's strengths and Vietnam’s needs.
