Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has sent a message of greetings to his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh on the occasion of India’s Republic Day. Ashraf reiterated his commitment to work closely with India for "friendly and cooperative relations" and to settle all issues through dialogue. Meanwhile, Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged sweets along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir as a goodwill gesture after the recent clashes between the two countries’ armies.
