(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang partly attributed the success of the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting to contributions by domestic and foreign sponsors.
At a reception in Hanoi on Monday, President Quang said Vietnam’s stature has been improved in the international arena by the meeting, adding that international friends lauded Vietnam’s hospitality and beautiful scenery, and thorough preparations for the mega-event.
President Quang said the success of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting has created opportunities for economic connectivity and free trade, and enhanced economic and trade ties between Vietnam and other countries.
