President Nguyen Xuan Phuc pays New Year visits to late leaders’ families
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid New Year visits to families of late Presidents Ton Duc Thang and Tran Dai Quang on Sunday.

Visiting the family of late President Ton Duc Thang, President Phuc highlighted the revolutionary life of President Ton Duc Thang, who was affectionately called Uncle Ton by Vietnamese people. Phuc said President Ton Duc Thang was the symbol of national unity and his revolutionary life was closely associated with Vietnam’s national liberation struggle in the 20th century.

President Phuc visited late President Tran Dai Quang’s family the same day. Tran Dai Quang was Vietnamese President from 2016 to 2018.
