President Nguyen Xuan Phuc wraps up State visit to RoK
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived in Hanoi on Wednesday morning concluding a State visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of RoK President Yoon Suk-yeol.

This was President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's first visit to the RoK as a State leader and the first visit by a Vietnamese President to RoK in 11 years.
President Phuc was also the first State-level guest of President Yoon Suk-yeol since he took office in May. The visit reflected the RoK's respect for ties with Vietnam.
During the visit, the two Presidents issued a Joint Statement on upgrading bilateral ties to comprehensive strategic partnership. With nearly 30 activities held during the 3-day visit, President Phuc's visit was successful opening a new chapter in Vietnam-RoK relations.
