President presents gifts to disadvantaged people in Dak Lak
(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday visited and presented gifts to 200 disadvantaged people in Buon Ho town in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak ahead of the Lunar New Year festival (Tet).

President Phuc hailed the town for its achievements in poverty reduction and ensuring social welfare. Buon Ho’s poverty rate dropped to about 3% last year.
He asked for greater efforts to preserve Central Highlands culture which is a competitive advantage of the region.
The same day, President Phuc gave Tet presents to teachers and students of the Krong Buk district boarding school and poor households in the district.
