President reviews 10 years of implementing National Defense Strategy
(VOVWORLD) -President Vo Van Thuong attended a conference reviewing 10 years of implementing a Resolution of the 11th Party Central Committee on the Strategy to protect the Fatherland in the new situation.

Addressing the conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, President Thuong praised the city for developing an action plan and closely incorporating the task of protecting the Fatherland into the socio-economic development plan. The city has done well in sustainable poverty reduction, job creation, and social security.
The President asked Ho Chi Minh City to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Strategy on protecting the Fatherland in the new situation and combine it with the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution on the direction of city construction and development from now to 2030 and a vision to 2045.
