(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang on Tuesday sent a letter to praise the People’s Army, the People’s Police, and militia for their brave and good deeds to protect people's lives and property  during the recent storm Dianmu.

He acknowledged the joint efforts of government agencies, ministries, sectors, and localities and the service of thousands of policemen and soldiers to help people cope with the storm, floods and landslide, rescue people, and resolve the consequences.

He said he hoped that the army, police, and other forces will promote their fine tradition to protect the peaceful and happy life for the people. He asked agencies, organizations, and all people to honor and replicate role models and good deeds in society for the course of prosperous people, strong nation, democracy, equality, and civilization.
