Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy Professor Dr. Le Van Loi, said that, in addition to human resources, strategies, models, and technology, resources play an essential role in effective policy communication.
“Policy making, promulgation, and implementation must be based and centered on the people. This is the guideline for us to innovate our thinking about implementing policy communication. Policy communication not only provides information and accountability on the part of the Government and ministries, but also ensures the legitimate interests of the people, taking the people's interests as the focus,” said Loi.
Delegates and experts emphasized the need for policy-making agencies and press agencies to increase their investment in human, financial, technological, and other resources for effective policy communication.
