The event was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. 

Addressing the function, the Prime Minister emphasized the important role played by education and training as well as teachers in national development, especially during the cause of industrialization, modernization and international integration. 

He urged teachers to make more thorough preparations to contribute to national construction and development in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. 
National Assembly Chairwoman Ngan shared the Prime Minister’s view, saying that the Party and State have always given top priority to education and the National Assembly is responsible for completing a legal framework on education and training.
