Prime Minister arrives in US for special ASEAN-US summit
(VOVworld) – A delegation led by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived at Palm Springs airport, California, on Sunday, to attend the special ASEAN-US summit scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. They were greeted at the airport by Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh and representatives from the US State Department. The summit will discuss orientations for, and implementation of their strategic partnership.

PM Dung is scheduled to join leaders of other ASEAN countries and the US in economy-trade and politics-security discussions. He will also meet bilaterally with leaders of several countries on the sidelines of the summit.
