(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated Tra Vinh province for its achievements over the past 25 years of reestablishment at a ceremony on Sunday night.

He called for efforts to review the provincial socio-economic development master plan with priority given to high-tech agriculture: “Tra Vinh should be become a role model in climate change adaptation and taking advantages of climate, soil, and geographical conditions to build up a modern economic structure. Smart agriculture and deep processing industry should be integrated to join the domestic and international value chain. Local identity and inclusive mindset should be reflected in all strategies.”

At the ceremony, the Prime Minister conferred the first class Independence Order to Tra Vinh province.
